Fundraisers 

The youth of our club work hard every year, to bring the future of our association great year end awards and activities all year long, which would not be possible without the support of all our members thru these fundraising events: 

 

Tribute Feed Proof of Purchase: Remember to cut off your Proof of Purchase from every Tribute Feed bag, and drop into collection box at all the Michigan Shows.

Ink Cartridge Collection: Remember to bring any of your used ink cartridges to the shows, and they will be a collection box.

 

 

Scholarship

The Michigan Appaloosa Horse Association may annually offer one or more scholarships of up to $500 to youth members or former youth members of the Michigan Appaloosa Horse Association. The Michigan Appaloosa Horse Association reserves the right to vary the number and monetary amounts of scholarships awarded, based on the number of applicants, the amount of funding available and the extent to which the criteria are met.

 

Each applicant must be a member of the Michigan Appaloosa Horse Association to be eligible and actively involved in some capacity with the Association such as showing or assisting with events. Scholarships will be awarded at the annual awards banquet during the school year for which they are to be used. The check awarded from the scholarship fund will be made payable to the recipient upon proof of enrollment into a trade school, college or university. It is non-transferable and must be used within one year from the date of award.

 

Each application will be carefully reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Applicant selection will be based on scholastic aptitude, current involvement in the Appaloosa industry, leadership potential, sportsmanship, community and civic responsibility, and general knowledge and accomplishments in horsemanship.
